Been way too long since i’ve updated this blog, just to let you know the film is coming along nicely! I dont want to show too much around the shot development just yet, might spoil it, but Im thinking about doing maybe one shot break down from blocking to final… we’ll see

quick animation test of the seagull, just seeing what else the I might need to do with the rig, so far seems to be ok. time to get this sucker into some of the shots :) next the marlin
Hey Peeps! started rigging the seagull.. max corrupted my file..lost 2 hours work…. BUT learnt something along the way.. going to make this rig super simple this time round… ie the wing close shape is one blend shape to get there.. with maybe 2 correctives,I think it’s working pretty well… usually the simplest way is best.. and as it’s only me animating this I can take short cuts, rigs tend to be realllly complicated to cater to a large group of artists and different ways of working… I’ll post a character study to test the rig hopefully this weekend :)
